Chris Gagne is of counsel to the firm. Chris’ practice focuses on patent infringement and validity investigations and opinions, patent portfolio mining and evaluation, evidence of use searches, competitor-targeted patent preparation and prosecution, and client counseling.
In the course of over 25 years of patent practice, Chris has acquired experience in a wide range of technologies. Such technologies include data center computing, network platforms, cloud/edge computing, network protocols, packet processing, switching, routing, telecommunications, Internet of Things, microprocessor architecture, mobile platforms/devices, network applications, user interfaces, e-commerce, wireless technologies, operating system software, security, cryptography, streaming and multi-cast, manageability, and network storage.
Prior to joining GHM, Chris was employed as patent counsel in several Fortune 500 companies, with responsibilities that included patent licensing, litigation, and purchase, patent portfolio analysis and management, and patent preparation and prosecution. Chris also has been a principal and associate in law firms in Texas, Massachusetts, and New Hampshire.
